Job Type: Full‑Time

Role Overview The Territory Account Manager sells all products within the Phoenix territory, generating new business, promoting products and programs, enforcing GPO contract compliance, developing current and new account relationships, and achieving Hikma’s corporate goals. The Account Manager works closely with Customer Service to provide timely, accurate support for sales and our customers.

Responsibilities

Identify marketplace trends, communicate those trends to the sales team, and capitalize on opportunities

Prepare and utilize sales tools to maximize effective customer presentations

Use product knowledge and sales skills to identify and meet customer needs

Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Customer Service and Finance to provide a market‑leading service level to customers

Manage GPO pull‑through

Develop key accounts

Achieve quarterly and annual territory sales goals

Increase sales in the assigned territory and develop new business opportunities

Launch new products and programs

Maintain a regular call schedule to key accounts

Manage day‑to‑day operations of the sales and marketing function with customers and colleagues

Collaborate with internal departments and external groups (wholesalers) to follow up on any customer issues, questions or concerns

Apply effective organization, planning and time‑management skills

Manage expense budget responsibly

Complete reports as requested by management on sales calls and marketplace conditions

Plan effectively

Engage in customer interaction

Meet sales targets and goals

Work and communicate with employees

Maintain business and product knowledge

Manage and control T&E expenses

Follow policies and procedures

Ensure alignment with Standard Operating Procedures and adhere to Hikma’s core values

Adhere to corporate policies and procedures

Metrics

Achieve or exceed quarterly and annual sales goals

Maintain an appropriate number of weekly sales calls

Complete reports in a timely manner

Provide competitive information on a regular basis

Meet monthly reporting requirements

Contribute to competitive intelligence

Travel regularly within the geographical territory (air/auto)

Collaborate internally with Sales team, Sales management, Customer Service, Marketing, Finance, Contracts

Engage externally with hospital buyers, pharmacists, purchasing departments, distributors and wholesalers

Make day‑to‑day operational decisions related to sales of Hikma products

Recommend higher‑level strategic decisions regarding sales of Hikma products

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree required (Business or Science degree preferred)

Ability to travel (air/auto) regularly

At least 4 years of experience in the generic pharmaceutical industry

Must reside in the territory

Demonstrated success working as part of a cross‑functional team

Significant knowledge and experience with leading pharmaceutical customers

Self‑starter willing to meet aggressive goals and actively engage in a team environment

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint

Excellent computer skills

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Compensation Base Salary: $100,000 to $140,000 annually. The compensation for this position will be determined during the interview process and will vary based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work location, prior experience and job‑related knowledge, relevant skills and expertise, current business needs and market factors.
