Counter Sales Specialist Locations (West Valley)
Phoenix, Bethany Home Road
Peoria, 91st Avenue
Goodyear, Van Buren
Phoenix, Bell Road

Responsibilities
Provide friendly, excellent customer service and assist customers in locating merchandise.
Assist in receiving, stocking, and pricing all merchandise, and help maintain a clean and orderly store.
Perform all duties in a store POS checkout environment.
Monitor the unloading of all materials into the facility; ensure materials are staged for counting and inspection; ensure receiving reports accurately report material received.
Store materials properly to conserve space and comply with safety procedures.
Resolve discrepancies with accounting regarding invoices, packing slips, and receiver reports.
Ensure appropriate merchandise stock levels, adjacency, and presentation; sign, and assortment in all departments; ensure selling floor is adequately stocked.
Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures through regular store staff meetings, walk‑throughs, and audits.
Maintain cleanliness of the store: take out the trash, dust and mop floors, clean restroom, associate room, and clean stockroom.
Perform all other duties within the store as trained and directed by the store manager or upper management.
Qualifications
High School degree, some college preferred.
Previous experience in a retail environment, either in sales or merchandising roles.
Product knowledge of hardware‑related and/or plumbing products, along with a willingness to learn.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekday and weekend shifts.
Ability to travel to other store locations if needed.
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and lift 50 pounds frequently to load and unload customer orders.
