Position Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Assistant to support our Oceanside showroom operations. This is a full time on-site position based in our Oceanside showroom. This hybrid role offers hands-on experience across client relations, showroom sales, and commercial project estimating. You’ll play a key part in ensuring a high-touch experience for our trade, design, and residential clients, while contributing to the growth of our commercial sales. Key Responsibilities Greet and assist trade, design, and retail clients in the showroom Provide samples, product knowledge, and design guidance to clients Support the sales team with quotes, follow-ups, and order tracking Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing showroom Deliver samples to architecture and design firms as needed to support project development and client engagement Administrative & Operational Support Help manage client communications and appointment scheduling Track and manage sample inventory and showroom materials Assist with events, pop-ups, and other showroom activations Support marketing and sales reporting and CRM entry High degree of accuracy and attention to detail Excellent time management and organizational abilities Respond-to and action daily in-bound pricing inquiries via phone and email Utilize the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database to record inquiries into project pipeline and cross reference specifiers Track projects and process sales orders directly from CRM Summarize each project with scope, product(s), key contacts, timeframe, bidders and pricing provided Accurately price each project with confirmation from sales/project manager Talk to customers via telephone, communicate via email Proficiency in CRM database / data entry skills Qualifications: 1–2 years of experience in a sales or design-related role (internships welcome) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Comfortable using Instagram, Canva, and basic photo/video apps Enthusiasm for design, architecture, and creative industries Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Shopify, or a CRM platform a plus Opportunity to grow with a dynamic and design-focused company Collaborative team culture with a strong creative community Exposure to innovative materials, architecture firms, and high-end design projects
