Outside Sales Consultant – Commercial Roofing (Orlando, FL)
Build relationships. Command markets. Create legacy-level income.
RAMCON is expanding our footprint in Orlando, and this is not a “sales job.” This is a market-building role for someone who wants ownership-level responsibility without ownership-level risk. We are looking for a disciplined, intelligent, high-output professional who understands that elite sales is built on technical mastery, proximity, trust, and execution.
You will not be handed leads and asked to “follow up.” You will be given a system, and a market and expected to dominate it.
RAMCON is a large-scale commercial and industrial roofing contractor headquartered in Tampa, known for large complex projects, operational excellence, and a reputation that carries weight. Our Orlando office is being built deliberately and strategically. This position sits at the center of that expansion.
What This Role Actually Is You are responsible for becoming the most knowledgeable roofing professional in your territory and the most trusted advisor to property owners, asset managers, and developers. Your job is to:
Build long-term relationships with decision-makers
Control your market vertically (owners, managers, brokers, engineers, GCs)
Protect and grow client portfolios
This is consultative selling backed by deep technical competence and elite execution.
Core Responsibilities Market Development
Establish RAMCON as the default commercial roofer in your assigned territory
Execute proximity selling: physically present, visible, and known in your market
Build and maintain a highly organized ownership and management contact network
Systematically target:
Commercial property owners
National and regional property management firms
Developers and asset managers
Institutional portfolios and REITs
Technical & Consultative Sales
Perform roof assessments and system evaluations
Design repair, maintenance, and replacement strategies
Build scopes, budgets, and phased capital planning approaches in conjunction with support teams
Understand and explain:
TPO, PVC, Modified Bitumen, Metal, Coatings, and Structural Decking
Insurance claims, warranties, and risk mitigation
Life-cycle costing and long-term asset protection
Revenue Ownership
Own your pipeline end-to-end
Drive service work, capital projects, and portfolio programs
Be accountable for:
Margin integrity
Strategic Selling
Identify competitors currently controlling major accounts
Build multi-touch campaigns to displace them
Position RAMCON as:
More technically competent
More responsive
More operationally reliable
More transparent
Process Discipline
Maintain detailed CRM records
Track relationships, meetings, follow-ups, and conversion metrics
Work inside RAMCON’s sales systems and frameworks (not outside of them)
Who This Role Is For This is not an entry-level sales role. It is for someone who:

Compensation Structure This role is designed for high income.
Compensation includes:
Aggressive commission structure
Performance-based upside that rewards:
Account control
