We’re seeking a UX Designer for Zoom Apps and Marketplace to shape how millions of users discover, install, and interact with apps that enhance the Zoom platform. You’ll own key product areas, lead the end-to-end design process, and collaborate with designers across the US and China to create innovative, scalable solutions. This role is ideal for a systems‑mindful designer passionate about crafting visually refined, intuitive experiences for SMB and enterprise users.
About The Team
You’ll work with the Zoom Apps and Marketplace team, focused on creating customizable apps and scalable integrations that help customers grow their businesses. Join a group of passionate, collaborative, impact‑driven designers who obsess over every pixel and interaction.
Responsibilities
- Lead high‑impact, mission‑critical projects that define the future of Zoom Marketplace and Developer Platform. Own design strategy and execution end‑to‑end with a deep emphasis on production‑ready visuals.
- Partner with cross‑functional teams (PM, engineering, research, accessibility) to align on product direction and champion design excellence across all surfaces.
- Drive high‑quality design while collaborating closely with design leadership to bring clarity and consistency across projects.
- Set and uphold high standards for visual and interaction design quality, demonstrating a love for polished UI and deep instincts for layout, spacing, motion, and micro‑interactions.
- Leverage qualitative and quantitative data to guide design decisions, evaluate success, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Own design execution in Figma, delivering pixel‑perfect visuals, robust prototypes, and clear specifications for engineering partners.
What We’re Looking For
- BS or equivalent experience with 4+ years of product design experience and a deep portfolio showcasing exceptional user‑centered interaction design.
- Experience managing complex projects with cross‑functional and cross‑team stakeholders across different time zones.
- Exposure to AI‑powered design tools (Prompting, Vibe Coding, Cursor, FigmaMake).
- Systems‑thinking ability and experience contributing to design systems libraries.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate positions, influence partners, and explore innovative design approaches.
- Deep understanding of user‑centered design principles and design thinking practices, with visual design skills that emphasize polish and an expert eye for detail.
Salary Range
Salary: $98,900 – $228,700. Additional compensation may include bonus and equity.
