What You’ll Do as Senior Underwriter
- Act as the go-to Senior Underwriter for complex residential mortgage and consumer loan submissions.
- Analyze income, debt-to-income ratios, loan-to-value metrics, and other financial criteria to ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines.
- Provide a clear synopsis of loan strengths and weaknesses, summarizing findings for stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with Mortgage Advisors, Processors, Closers, and Loan Servicing teams to facilitate smooth and compliant loan processing.
What We’re Looking For in a Senior Underwriter
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in underwriting or related roles (or equivalent combination of experience and education).
