Senior Tax Associate

Our client is seeking a Senior Tax Associate to join our growing tax practice focused on small and closely held businesses. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for small businesses (S-corps, partnerships, LLCs, and closely held C-corps)
• Provide tax advisory services related to business transactions, including entity structuring, acquisitions, dispositions, and reorganizations
• Assist clients with tax planning strategies to support growth, cash flow, and long-term goals
• Research and interpret complex tax issues and communicate recommendations clearly to clients
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver proactive, value-added tax solutions
• Support junior staff through review, training, and mentorship
• Stay current on tax law changes affecting small and mid-sized businesses

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, CPA or EA required.
• 4+ years of tax experience, preferably serving small or mid-sized businesses
• Strong knowledge of business taxation and multi-entity structures
• Experience providing tax planning and advisory support, not just compliance
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills
• Ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines
• Proficiency with tax preparation and research software

Salary Range: $90K-$115K, depending on experience.
