Job Description - Assistant Director of Plant Operations (HSC) (2504716) Assistant Director of Plant Operations (HSC) Position Summary The Assistant Director of Plant Operations will assist the Director of Plant Operations to set the priorities and long range goals of the Plant Operations Department as well as handle all personnel transactions for the department. This position is responsible for evaluating and implementing new policies and procedures and will assist the Director of Plant Operations to develop finical goals and long-term operations costs. Duties
30%: Effectively manage assigned staff and budgets of the East Campus HSC/BST Plant Operations departments which include: Electrical, HVAC and Refrigeration, Plumbing, Plant Operations Administration, Structural, Lock Shop, Grounds and East Campus HS and BST Garages 25%: Responsible for the oversight of all East Campus service and maintenance contracts 25%: Set short and long term department goals 15%: Develop quality controls and improvements 5%: Review and implementation of all Plant Operations Policies and Procedures Qualifications
Required Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field. 10 or more years of full time experience in a management role in a Healthcare Facility. 5 or more years of full time experience in contract management and oversight. Experience with all regulatory requirements. Preferred Qualifications: Additional years of education and experience. Please Note:
