Group Home Program Director
Salaried Position $50k - $55k Summary

Responsibilities Oversee organization and implementation of direct supports, person-centered planning and implementation, health care, advocacy, stakeholder relations, regulatory compliance, staffing, training, financial management, and maintenance of the physical environment.
Program Management: plan, write and approve individual program plans; supervise implementation across all shifts; monitor records and compliance; oversee program governance and stakeholder communications.
Staff Management: recruit and hire; organize training; manage scheduling; conduct performance evaluations; coach, discipline and terminate as needed; ensure employee safety and workers’ compensation compliance.
Health Care: coordinate health care appointments, oversee medication administration systems, and monitor medical supplies and equipment; ensure staff are trained in medication administration and dietary planning as applicable.
Financial Management: approve purchases, monitor invoices and budget compliance; oversee billing, census and utilization reporting; manage staffing within budget.
Census Management: monitor census performance, review referrals for fit, and coordinate placements and site visits as needed.
Maintenance: ensure vehicles and facilities are safe and well-maintained; oversee housekeeping and environmental safety programs.
Other: perform additional duties as required and be available on-call to support staff.
Supervisory Responsibilities Manages Direct Support Professionals, Program Supervisors and other staff; conducts evaluations, orientation and training; makes hiring, promotion, and disciplinary decisions; resolves staff issues within scope.
Minimum Knowledge and Skills
The requirements below describe the knowledge, skill, and/or abilities required. Education and Experience Bachelor's degree
Two to three years of related experience in the Human Services Industry preferred
Equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted
Additional regulations may apply depending on state
Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations Current driver’s license, automobile insurance if driving for company or transporting individuals
Licensure as required by state
Medication Management Certificate (company training)
Mandatory Reporter Certificate (company training)
Other state-required trainings or certifications
For specific programs: AZ Behavioral Health programs must meet BHT requirements
