Salesforce Financial Services Cloud Technical Architect
As a Salesforce Financial Services Cloud Technical Architect, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing Salesforce solutions that align with business objectives. You will leverage your expertise in SFDC Identity and Security Sharing and Visibility and Financial Service Cloud to drive innovation and efficiency. Your contributions will enhance the company’s offerings and positively impact the industry.
Location: Boston, United States
Experience: 10+ Years
Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary for this position is between $120,000/Year to $200,000/Year depending on the experience and other qualifications of the candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.

Responsibilities
Define reference architecture: data model, integration, security, environments, DevOps, and release management.
Leverage standard FSC objects and relationships; enforce upgrade‑friendly designs.
Design automation via OmniStudio/Flows; establish patterns and guardrails for Apex/LWC when needed.
Own non‑functional requirements: performance, scalability, observability, and resilience.
Lead integration design with enterprise systems (e.g., policy admin, data platforms) using best‑practice frameworks.
Oversee developers; conduct design/code reviews and ensure testability and documentation.
Plan sandboxes, CI/CD, test data strategy, and deployment pipelines.
Architecture conformance and technical debt trends
Deployment stability and defect rates post‑release
Performance SLAs and scalability metrics
Upgrade success with minimal remediation
Qualifications
12+ years in enterprise architecture with 7+ years on Salesforce; 3+ large FSC programs delivered.
Expertise in Apex, LWC, OmniStudio, Flow Orchestration; strong API and data integration experience.
Certifications: Application/System Architect (or path), OmniStudio Consultant/Developer, Platform Developer II; FSC AP (preferred).
Hands‑on security (profiles, permission sets, Shield, encryption) and governance.
