Job Summary The Associate Director of US Integrated Insights for Franchise is a key role within the Commercial Insights, Analytics and Operations (CIAO) team. This position is responsible for driving strategic decision‑making through robust market research, leading short‑term brand forecasting, and collaborating closely with US Marketing Brand and Franchise leads. As the Insights & Operations POD lead, the Associate Director ensures integration and alignment of insights across insights and operational cross‑functional partners, supporting both tactical and strategic planning. The role reports directly to the Senior Director of US Integrated Insights.

Key Responsibilities

Forecast Leadership: Lead the development and maintenance of short‑term forecasts for inline brands, incorporating market dynamics, competitive intelligence, and cross‑functional input to ensure accuracy and relevance.

Market Research & Insights Generation: Design, commission, and analyze market research initiatives to uncover actionable insights that inform brand strategy and forecast assumptions. Translate complex data into clear, impactful recommendations for brand teams.

Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary insights partner for US Marketing Brand and Franchise leads, fostering strong relationships and ensuring their strategic objectives are supported through actionable insights.

Strategic Planning as Cross Functional Insights & Analytics Lead: Lead the CIAO cross‑functional group supporting Franchise and Yescarta, coordinating cross‑functional input, managing deliverables, and driving continuous improvement in insights generation and application.

Detailed responsibilities Market Research & Insights Generation

Design, commission, and execute high‑impact primary and secondary market research initiatives that inform brand strategy, competitive positioning, patient/physician insights, and forecast assumptions.

Synthesize complex quantitative and qualitative data into clear, actionable recommendations that guide brand teams on strategic choices, opportunities, and risks.

Build integrated insight narratives by combining research, analytics, marketplace trends, and performance diagnostics to elevate commercial decision‑making and brand planning.

Forecast Leadership

Lead short‑term US forecasts for inline CAR‑T brands, integrating market dynamics, competitive intelligence, patient flow assumptions, and cross‑functional inputs with US Marketing partners.

Deliver accurate, timely brand forecasts to support Operating Reviews, Budget cycles, strategic planning, and cross‑functional decision processes across Finance, Marketing, Manufacturing, and Leadership.

Strategic Planning as Cross‑Functional Insights & Analytics Lead

Lead the CIAO Insights & Operations POD for Franchise, ensuring seamless integration of insights across forecasting, market research, advanced analytics, and operational partners.

Coordinate cross‑functional input for strategic and tactical planning, ensuring high‑quality deliverables, aligned assumptions, and a consistent fact base across the organization.

Drive continuous improvement in insights generation, process optimization, and cross‑functional operating rhythms, enhancing the Brand and Franchise teams’ ability to make informed, timely decisions.

Stakeholder Management & Strategic Partnership

Serve as the primary insights partner for US Marketing Brand and Franchise Leads, proactively identifying insight needs and shaping strategic direction through data‑driven recommendations.

Build strong, trust‑based relationships with cross‑functional partners—including Marketing, Market Access, Medical, Finance, and Manufacturing—to ensure alignment on brand performance drivers and market expectations.

Communicate insights and analytical findings to senior executives with clarity, authority, and strategic framing.

Basic Qualifications

PhD with 2+ years of related experience OR

MS/MA with 8+ years of related experience OR

BS/BA with 10+ years of related experience OR

High School diploma with 14+ years of related experience

Preferred Qualifications and Attributes

Proven expertise in forecasting, market research methodologies, and strategic planning.

Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex data, develop actionable insights, and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders.

Exceptional strategic thinking with the ability to connect insights to commercial strategy.

Strong communication skills — comfortable presenting complex findings to all levels, including senior executives.

Strong project management and task prioritization skills; ability to meet tight deadlines.

Heme Onc or CAR‑T experience, experience with US market.

Advanced quantitative, analytical, and modeling capabilities.

Deep understanding of pharmaceutical data sources (e.g., Symphony, IQVIA/IMS, WKH, Synovate).

Proven ability to design and implement innovative methodologies and tools.

In‑depth experience with quantitative and qualitative market research methodologies.

Highly skilled at distilling complex analyses into simple, strategic recommendations.

Demonstrated cross‑functional leadership, influence, and collaboration.

Ability to manage conflicting priorities and navigate ambiguity.

Highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to resolve conflict and drive consensus.

Salary range: $177,905.00 - $230,230.00. Kite considers a variety of factors when determining base compensation, including experience, qualifications, and geographic location. These considerations mean actual compensation will vary. This position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock‑based long‑term incentives (eligibility may vary based on role), paid time off, and a benefits package. Benefits include company‑sponsored medical, dental, vision, and life insurance plans*.
