
What You Can Expect In This Role
Drive sales by providing fixed annuity sales support expertise to existing and new agents and distribution partners of both Midland National and North American. Support efforts to increase overall effectiveness and efficiency of the sales support team in order to increase sales and overall bottom line results for the Company. Work collaboratively with internal departments to fulfill agent needs and requests. Drive sales through proactive outbound call initiatives, as queues allow. Primary goals should be to drive sales and offer complete agent satisfaction.
What You'll Do In This Role
Drive and support sales by answering inbound calls from agents and distribution partners assisting with running product illustrations, ordering supplies, education of product offerings and promotions as well as other inquiries and requests.
Demonstrate a proactive sales focus by recognizing and capitalizing on sales opportunities during each call.
Proactively make outbound calls to agents and distributors, promoting company products and driving sales, as inbound call volumes allow.
Partner with sales development teams by recognizing and entering opportunities in salesforce so sales reps can follow-up with agents’/distribution partners in an attempt to close the sale and drive additional business.
Enter and work new leads, as per current guidelines, to recruit new agents to company in an effort to hit sales growth goals.
Assist the field with website registration, navigation and technical support questions. Work with Information Technology to find resolutions, as needed.
Establish and cultivate marketing relationships with agents and distribution partners in an effort to help the company achieve sales goals.
Actively participate in an energetic, supportive team environment to meet and exceed assigned goals in a high performance culture.
Maintain and promote a positive image of the team, department and company. Lead by example, using a “Sammons First” approach.
Collaborate with team and sales leaders to share new ideas and suggestions with regards to products, processes and service levels. Share vital feedback about the company’s overall sales and service environment as well as what we’re hearing from the field regarding competitive marketplace.
Establish and cultivate sales relationships with agents and distribution partners in an effort to help the company meet and exceed its recruiting and production goals.
Proactively increase knowledge of fixed annuity industry and competitor offerings.
Diligently strive to meet daily call goals set by department manager. Expectation is to achieve daily call goals at 95% or greater.

What We're Looking For
Bachelor's Degree Preferred
1-2 years' relevant work experience in insurance industry Preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
