Working Hours: Monday to Friday

Salary Range: $51,240 - $58,790 per year

Description

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Public Relations Associate to join our team. As a Public Relations Associate, you will play a vital role in shaping and maintaining our company’s public image and reputation. You will be involved in developing and executing media strategies, crafting press materials, and assisting in the organization of events that align with our branding objectives. This position requires strong communication skills, a passion for media relations, and the ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing and implementing PR strategies that align with the company’s goals.
• Draft and distribute press releases, media alerts, and other PR materials.
• Monitor media coverage and industry trends to inform strategy and messaging.
• Coordinate and manage logistics for press events and community engagement activities.
• Build and maintain relationships with journalists, influencers, and other media contacts.
• Support the Public Relations Manager in preparing for interviews and press conferences.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in public relations or communications, preferably in an agency or corporate setting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in using social media platforms and digital communication tools.
• Basic knowledge of media relations and best practices in PR.
