POSITION FUNCTION
The Quantitative Research Associate Director serves as a strategic project manager and emerging client consultant, overseeing the design & execution of custom quantitative research initiatives from start to finish. This role bridges tactical execution with strategic insight, ensuring projects are aligned with client objectives and delivered with excellence.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead project planning with both execution and client strategy in mind, collaborating across departments to ensure smooth execution and shared understanding.
- Develop screeners, questionnaires and analytical plans to effectively address research a wide range of research using both established and innovative techniques.
- Apply data processing and statistical principles (including complex variables) to manipulate data and explore hypotheses.
- Work collaboratively with both junior and senior team members to elevate research output and client success
- Create clear, visually compelling reports that combine data analysis, presentation design, and editorial insight. Write concise, actionable headlines and summarize key findings. Use best practices in data visualization to enhance clarity & impact. Partner with senior leaders to translate insights into strategic business value.
- Mentor and guide more junior analysts, providing feedback and fostering skill development.
- Understand and implement digital project related tools, both internal and external, to enhance project efficiencies and data analysis.
- Attend and contribute to client meetings and presentations.
- Build strong client relationships through keen project oversight that balances internal needs and client needs, earning trust as a knowledgeable resource.
Other Duties
- Keep up-to-date and knowledgeable about your clients’ businesses, industries and/or customers.
- Contribute to internal initiatives, training, and process improvements.
- Keep abreast of industry changes.Share knowledge and experience with C+R staff.
- Special projects as required.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- 5+ years of total marketing insights related experience with at least 3 years in a research supplier/agency role, hands‑on experience conducting custom market research projects.
- Self‑starter with full project management abilities.
- Exceptional communication skills- written, verbal and visual.
- A proven record of exemplary client service.
- Ability to juggle numerous concurrent projects and tasks with minimal supervision.
- Proven history of problem solving and exhibiting leadership managing projects.
- Enthusiastic, engaged, and positive attitude.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Significant, hands‑on experience using Microsoft Office products.
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Office environment. May require some travel to client sites.
