This role will service and maintain current client needs as it pertains to employee benefits, and will work closely with interdepartmental teams, to ensure exceptional customer service. This person will represent Stratus HR in benefit presentations and open enrollment meetings, and be a primary resource for clients and worksite employees regarding benefit questions. This is a full-time, in-office position at our headquarters in Sandy, UT.

Responsibilities

Create and distribute marketing, open enrollment materials, proposals, and carrier product comparisons to client

Ensure accuracy, and correct content, of all deliverables to client representatives and internal departments at Stratus.HR

Stay informed of current health care, and other employee benefit markets. This includes health reform, COBRA, wellness options, and compliance

Prepare and distribute wrap documents and other compliance information.

Assist clients with claims issue resolution, carrier communications, open enrollment meetings, and continues to build client relationships at decision maker and employee levels.

Serve in an advisory capacity for clients

Delegate work assignments to internal service team members

Work closely with Benefits Department and/or Client Executives to manage the entire renewal process

Advise clients in reducing costs while offering competitive benefits options

Build relationships with clients through proactive communication including educating clients on latest trends, concerns and changes in the industry

Qualifications

2+ years carrier or broker agency experience, required

Additional opportunities for earning commissions and advancement available for those with a current license.

Utah Life Accident and Health Insurance license, preferred but not required

Multiple state insurance licensing, preferred but not required

Highly experienced in Microsoft products

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
