Client - Real Estate Firm Role - Property Manager Salary - $75,000-$80,000 Location - Orange, NJ Job Description Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations of mixed-use and value-add properties Manage maintenance work orders, preventative maintenance programs, and vendor service calls Provide strong leadership and people management to on-site staff Be available 24/7 for emergency response within the assigned geographic area Conduct regular property inspections and ensure timely follow-up on maintenance issues Maintain excellent tenant relations through clear communication and problem resolution Implement marketing strategies and tenant retention programs Manage rent collection processes and address delinquencies Assist in preparing annual budgets and control monthly expenses Monitor budget performance and report variances prior to invoice approval Review and approve invoices using appropriate GL codes Maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, brokers, and other professionals Report portfolio activity to the Director of Property Management Represent the company when necessary at legal proceedings Communicate effectively with all levels of management, tenants, and staff Qualifications
Proven experience managing
mixed-use properties
and
value-add assets
(required) Strong facilities, general maintenance, and mechanical knowledge (preferred) Demonstrated people management and leadership experience Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills Proficiency in
Yardi ,
Microsoft Excel , and
