POSITION SUMMARY
The Regional Sales & Marketing Specialist (RSMS) helps create joyful & vibrant communities by supporting community and sales leaders to build relationships, help customers navigate the journey to senior living, and welcome new residents & families into the Cascadia family.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS This role ensures sales continuity during vacancies, performance dips, onboarding periods, or census risk. The RSMS will be expected to rapidly assess sales funnel health and execution gaps, and implement immediate corrective actions to stabilize inquiry flow, tours and move-ins, allowing enterprise sales and marketing leadership to remain focused on strategy, growth, and optimization rather than day-to-day firefighting.
DIRECT SALES
Personally manage inquiries, conduct lead discovery, run tours, and convert prospects into move-ins when embedded in a community
Demonstrate best-in-class sales behaviors in real time, not theory
Maintain accurate, timely, and complete CRM documentation that reflects the full prospect journey
Translate marketing strategy into effective sales conversations
Ensure community-level execution aligns with brand standards and campaign intent
Provide leadership with actionable insights that improve hiring profiles, training programs, sales processes and marketing alignment
TRAINING AND COMMUNITY SKILLS DEVELOPMENT
Lead onboarding for new sales hires, including lead discovery, tour structure, objection handling, follow-up cadence, CRM usage and data integrity, and outreach plans and messaging
Re-train or reset underperforming sales staff using live coaching, shadowing, and role modeling
Ensure consistency in sales behaviors and expectations across all communities
Serve as a CRM power user and role model
Ensure data accuracy, pipeline visibility, and proper use of inquiry stages, notes and activity tracking, and conversion metrics
Use CRM insights to identify sales breakdowns and opportunities for improvement
Model urgency, follow-up discipline, and consultative selling standards
Provide field-level feedback on lead quality, messaging effectiveness, and market response
Surface recurring challenges, training gaps, and process breakdowns
Understand and articulate the role of branding and positioning; digital marketing, paid media, SEO, and print; messaging strategy by audience and funnel stage

Partners effectively with Executive Directors, Sales Counselors, and support teams

EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS, AND SKILLS
Proven success converting senior living inquiries into tours and move-ins
Deep understanding of consultative sales and lead discoveryHigh proficiency with senior living CRMs and sales reporting
Demonstrated ability to coach and train sales professionals
Strong understanding of branding, marketing channels, and messaging strategy
Willingness and ability to travel frequently across communities
Multi-community or regional sales experience
Experience stabilizing underperforming sales environments
Bachelor’s degree in related field or comparable experience
Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state and/or organization requirements.
