Responsibilities
Motivate and cultivate a positive work environment for staff while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
Operate daily tasting room activities, including but not limited to tastings, club pickup/events, customer communications.
Act as a professional representative and host/hostess, welcoming customers and educating them about our products.
Guide staff in customer interactions and service, ensuring alignment with guest conversations.
Oversee inventory management of Tasting Room cider, wine, and merchandise, including compiling weekly supply lists for operational needs.
Actively participate in meetings with management to suggest improvements for the Tasting Room experience and discuss industry trends.
Host small special events in the tasting room, overseeing drink/beverage service.
Assist in marketing/sales activities outside of tasting room, such as store tastings, attending festivals/promotional events
Required Skills and Qualifications
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-focused mindset.
Experience in team management and staff scheduling in a retail or hospitality setting.
Knowledge of wines and ciders, or a willingness to learn about Two K products.
Proficiency in inventory management and POS systems.
Ability to work collaboratively with management and other departments to enhance the customer experience.
Prior 4 – 7 years’ experience in the hospitality industry. Wage compensation is based on prior work experience: $17 - 19 per hour, plus tips, sales commission, and performance bonuses.
