What We Need
InReach has an exciting opportunity to join our growing team as a
Human Resources Specialist ! We are seeking a personable, motivated HR professional who is eager to learn, grow, and build a long-term career with our organization. This role provides comprehensive administrative support to the Human Resources department and plays a key role in recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and general HR operations.
Responsibilities
Utilize a variety of sourcing methods to identify qualified candidates, including job boards, social media platforms, and professional networks
Support the recruitment and selection process by posting job openings, screening resumes, and conducting initial screening interviews
Coordinate and complete background checks, including criminal, motor vehicle, education, and employment verifications
Collaborate closely with hiring managers to share qualified candidates, gather feedback, and support timely hiring decisions
Collaborate with the HR team to ensure a smooth and welcoming onboarding experience for new hires
Coordinate onboarding activities, including paperwork, orientation, and HRIS data entry
Utilize E-Verify and ensure completion of I-9 documentation in compliance with federal requirements
Prepare and maintain electronic employee files and records in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
Build and maintain positive relationships with candidates by providing timely communication and updates throughout the hiring process
Track recruitment metrics and analyze data to identify opportunities for improvement
Maintain a professional, respectful, and confidential approach in all interactions with employees, candidates, and leadership
Contribute to the development and promotion of InReach's positive employer brand
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree, 2-year certificate, or a combination of education and relevant HR experience required
Recruiting and onboarding experience preferred
Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative, professional demeanor
Hours Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Location 4014 Monroe Rd., Building 4, Suite 170 Charlotte, NC 28205
This position will begin fully in-person to support training and onboarding, with the opportunity to transition to a hybrid schedule once the employee is established and meeting role expectations.
Pay Rate $21.00 per hour
Job Type Full-Time, 37.5 hours per week
