Overview
Labor One is currently hiring Marine Electricians in Pascagoula, MS at a Shipyard.
Responsibilities
Install, repair, and hook-up equipment for electrical services on a ship.
Utilize knowledge of electrical theory and procedures; troubleshoot and repair shipboard electrical systems and equipment (600 V and less) in accordance with specifications and drawings.
Follow safety procedures pertaining to electrical work; implement Lock-out Tag-out (LOTO) for work being performed.
Tests: complete a basic electrical shipbuilding written test and hands-on electrical hookup.
Qualifications and Capabilities
Working knowledge of electrical theory and procedures; ability to troubleshoot and repair shipboard electrical systems and equipment (600 V and less).
Familiarity with all safety procedures pertaining to electrical work and obtaining electrical procedures.
