Thorp Controls Automation Solutions
Founded in 1923 by Roy Thorp, Thorp Controls (formerly Barr-Thorp Electric Company) is a third-generation, family-owned business that has grown through consistently delivering outstanding service, quality products, and expert support. Our industry edge lies in supplying automation products that require extensive engineering assistance for proper selection and application. However, as a full-line distributor, we offer a broad range of products, including items that are commonly considered commodities.
Our diverse customer base includes OEMs, system integrators, and industrial end users. Thorp Controls works hard to ensure our customers’ operations run optimally and sustainably. We leverage technology to improve product flow and customer experience. Whether a customer is an OEM needing ideas or a plant engineer troubleshooting an ongoing issue, we bring a century of excellence behind every solution.
Thorp Controls has six locations across Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, and Colorado. We believe outsourcing can often be avoided by implementing the right technology.
