DESCRIPTION Join us as a

Customer Specialist NE . You’ll own vendor replenishment, keep item data spot‑on, and act as the retailer liaison to resolve order issues before they impact shelves. Great fit for detail‑oriented pros who enjoy fast problem‑solving, cross‑team collaboration, and visible wins in retail operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES Responsibilities — What you’ll do

Own vendor replenishment for your assigned retailer/market , advising teams and ensuring accurate, on time vendor purchase orders from creation through confirmation.

Set up and maintain item data

(pricing, promotions, pack/size, and dimensions) so product information is clean, current, and consistent across retailer systems.

Monitor replenishment systems daily

to catch inaccuracies early, prevent stockouts/overstocks, and keep orders flowing smoothly.

Serve as the liaison between Acosta and the retailer , troubleshooting order issues and driving quick, professional resolutions.

Build strong relationships with vendor partners

within the retailer’s organization—be their trusted point of contact.

Update authorized assortments and store codes weekly

so stores reflect the latest item lists and distribution.

Validate and correct product data quality

(e.g., invalid UPCs, weights, pallet/cube specs) across customer systems to improve accuracy and speed.

Support Business Managers

with inventory reviews, code‑date checks, and warehouse‑level product rotation to protect on‑shelf availability.

Collaborate as a core team player

to strengthen Acosta’s customer partnership and deliver flawless retail execution.

Jump in on special projects

that streamline processes and enhance the customer/vendor experience.

QUALIFICATIONS Education & Experience

High School Diploma/GED required; some college preferred

4+ years customer service experience (2+ years senior level)

Food brokerage experience as Sales Support Associate or Lead strongly preferred

Skills & Abilities

Advanced proficiency in Word, Excel, presentations, and email

Typing speed: 60+ wpm

Strong interpersonal, organizational, and administrative skills

Effective verbal and written communication

Professional image and ability to represent the company

Other Requirements

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Comfortable using standard office equipment
