Flatbed Carrier Sales Rep job at LST Group LLC. Kansas City, MO. Are you a Flatbed carrier rep looking for a new role? LST Group is currently seeking a Flatbed Freight Team Lead. If you are the “go to” for flatbed loads at your current employer, we want to talk to you. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of logistics experience and can sling freight all day, every day.
Responsibilities
Serve as the primary contact for flatbed loads and coordinate with the carrier sales/operations team.
Identify double brokers or shady carriers and exercise due diligence in carrier sourcing.
Quote flatbed shipments and leverage carrier relationships to provide truck-in-hand pricing.
Maintain a strong understanding of dimensions and equipment specifications for flatbed moves.
Provide rates to customers and respond to scheduling, ETAs, and related inquiries.
Collaborate with the flatbed carrier sales/operations team to deliver quality service.
Qualifications
5+ years of logistics experience.
Ability to identify and avoid double brokers/shady carriers.
Experience quoting flatbed shipments and maintaining carrier relationships for pricing.
Strong understanding of dimensions/equipment specifications.
Comfort providing rates to customers and handling scheduling-related communications.
Ability to work with an experienced flatbed carrier sales/operations team.
