Digital Marketing Specialist

SUMMARY : The Digital Marketing Specialist will support the Marketing Department by managing and executing digital campaigns across email, website, and online channels. This role will be responsible for developing, scheduling, and implementing email and website content; supporting email marketing efforts; tracking campaign performance; and ensuring brand consistency across all digital platforms. In addition, the Digital Marketing Specialist will handle website/webmaster duties, creating, maintaining and updating web content to ensure accuracy, functionality, and alignment with member needs. This role will also work closely with the marketing and design teams to enhance SSSCU's online presence, member engagement, and audience segmentation strategies. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The following are essential functions of this position but are subject to change based on operating necessity. Digital Content & Campaigns Develop, schedule, and deliver engaging email campaigns and digital content. Create and manage member segments and personas to improve targeting, personalization, and campaign relevance. Create, update and maintain website content to ensure accuracy, consistency, functionality, and member-focused messaging. Perform basic webmaster duties to support website optimization, user experience, and online member resources. Coordinate online advertising campaigns and ensure proper tracking and reporting. Collaboration & Support Partner with marketing, design, and leadership teams to develop creative, engaging digital content that supports campaigns and promotions. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support community engagement, POP (People Over Profit) Foundation initiatives, and financial literacy efforts through digital channels. Ensure brand guidelines and tone of voice are upheld across all digital platforms. Monitoring & Engagement Track and monitor digital campaign performance, providing regular reports on engagement, conversion, and effectiveness. Provide recommendations to enhance digital engagement and improve campaign performance. Stay informed on trends in digital marketing, audience segmentation, email best practices, and member engagement to keep SSSCU's content relevant and effective. Perform other duties as assigned. EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree preferred in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field and 2 – 4 years' experience in digital marketing, email marketing, or related roles.
