Responsibilities
Develop and execute long-term strategic plans and annual brand plans based on market insights.
Analyse market dynamics and competitor strategies to inform brand positioning and messaging.
Lead the development and localisation of brand campaigns and tactics across multiple channels, including non-personal selling and medical education programmes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure engagement and accountability for effective brand plan execution.
Monitor and drive brand performance, providing regular updates to senior leadership.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of disease areas, market dynamics, and NHS structures to strengthen strategic decisions.
Ensure compliance with ABPI code of practice and Novo Nordisk policies.
Your new department The NHS Marketing team is based in the United Kingdom and plays a pivotal role in driving brand strategies and marketing excellence. Our team is dynamic, collaborative, and committed to delivering impactful campaigns that align with Novo Nordisk’s vision. Working in a fast-paced environment, you will have the opportunity to engage with internal stakeholders across Market Access, Medical, and Commercial Excellence teams, as well as external partners such as KOLs and agencies. Together, we aim to make a difference for patients and healthcare providers.
Your skills & qualifications We are looking for a candidate who has:
A graduate degree or equivalent in Life Sciences, Marketing, or Business.
Proven experience in pharmaceutical product management/marketing roles.
Current experience in UK primary and/or secondary care markets.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation and report writing.
Fluent written and spoken English.
Willingness and ability to travel within the UK, Europe, and internationally.
Nice to have
Market and therapy area knowledge.
Appreciation of NHS landscape and infrastructure.
ABPI certification.
Financial management and return on investment development skills.
Strong influencing abilities, proven experience leading within a matrix environment, solid project-management capabilities, and an agile, goal-driven mindset.
