Sales Coordinator (Kansas City, MO)

Position Summary We are looking for a detail-oriented Sales Coordinator to streamline our sales operations and provide exceptional support to our account managers and customers. In this role, you will manage the end-to-end sales process – for both new equipment and systems projects. This individual will partner with our sales and accounting departments and will interact with vendors and customerswithin the intralogistics warehouse space.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

Order Processing:

Carry out distribution of all sales order acknowledgements and track shipments of all incoming orders.

Carry out equipment/materials ordering and change order requests for clients

Input customer information, equipment data, etc. into the computer system

Partner with sales and financial team to help with new leases and equipment lease management

Vendor Management

Match vendor invoices with purchase orders and receivers and forward to appropriate manager for approval.

Invoicing

Tracking all Monthly billing and RTO’s and process paperwork for customer and accounting

Assist Accounts Receivable with collections as needed.

Sales Reporting

Complete all internal paperwork for accounting daily and answer any accounting questions in a timely manner to close out the month.

Work with finance team monthly, quarterly, and yearly on auditor requests

Organize and maintain all files and records.

Ideal candidate Qualifications

Attention to detail – ability to handle multiple projects at one time

Exceptional organizational skills

Strong communication skills – both verbal and written

Problem-Solving skills – ability to think on their feet and collaborate with the account managers

Experience working with project orders, invoices, and supporting sales staff

Experience working within a sales operations role in the material handling, heavy equipment, industrial, or related field

Minimum requirements

High school diploma or equivalent

Proficiency in the Microsoft Suite

2-4 years experience carrying out coordination for a sales department, or project management experience

In office position – remote work extremely limited
