This position will be responsible for managing the sales of CCPs (fly ash, bottom ash, gypsum and other supplementary cementitious material product lines created by Charah. Sales Manager will oversee multiple accounts, ensuring bottom line profitability through developing marketing strategies, enhancing customer networks, understanding pricing trends and overseeing the day-to-day supply chain aspects of the individual product lines.

Responsibilities

Create demand for and sell organization’s products to potential customers and prospects

Develop and maintain territory intelligence, identifying market size, customers and competitors

Attain sales goal for territory – Volume, Average Selling Price, etc.

Forecast demandand establish pricing mechanisms supporting overall corporate financial goals

Inform customers of price and supply trends

Participate in trade association meetings

Work to resolve customer issues, problems and concerns in a timely and effective manner

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred)

Valid driver’s license required

Strong communication skills

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the cement or supplementary cementitious materials (SCM) sales industry preferred

Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, Power Point and Outlook required

Work Environment & Conditions

Must be self-directed and disciplined to set own schedule and perform independently as well as in a team

Ability to travel regularly with overnight travel required

This position requires a flexible work schedule: nights, weekends and holidays

Must be able to climb, maintain body equilibrium, reach, grasp, bend and walk/stand/sit for extended periods of time

Must be able to hear and see naturally or with correction

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

Be subject to loud noises

Be subject to atmospheric conditions - one or more of the following conditions that affect the respiratory system or the skin: fumes, odor, dust, mists, gases, or poor ventilation

This position requires working in the internal and external environment

Ability to work under pressure with time constraints in a changing environment

Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and written
