Drayage Sales Account Manager Needed!
GetCarrier LLC is a full-service, asset-based 3PL specializing in Drayage, LTL, Expedited, Last Mile, FTL, and Auto Transport. As we continue to expand, we are looking for a Drayage Sales Account Manager to help grow our drayage services. This is a great opportunity for an ambitious sales professional who wants to take their career to the next level in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The Drayage Sales Account Manager will be responsible for prospecting, selling, and managing drayage accounts, ensuring customers receive top-tier service and competitive pricing. This role is perfect for someone with a strong understanding of port operations, intermodal logistics, and containerized freight. Responsibilities
Prospect for new drayage customers through cold calls, networking, and referrals. Manage and grow existing customer relationships to maximize revenue. Work closely with ports, rail yards, and trucking partners to secure capacity. Accurately book and track shipments in the system. Negotiate rates and contracts with shippers and carriers. Collaborate with the operations team to ensure smooth pickups and deliveries. Monitor market trends, pricing, and capacity to stay competitive. Provide exceptional customer service and shipment updates. Meet and exceed sales targets and revenue goals. Required Qualifications
Experience in drayage or intermodal sales (preferred but not required). Strong negotiation and communication skills. Self-motivated and results-driven. Ability to work in a fast-paced, competitive environment. Experience with TMS software and CRM systems is a plus. Must be comfortable with making outbound sales calls and securing new business. Availability to take calls during evenings and weekends as needed. Compensation
