GENERAL FUNCTION The Sales Associate sets the standard of quality in eye care and eyewear by ensuring every patient and customer has the best experience in every LensCrafters visit. This role helps establish LensCrafters as the premier destination for all vision needs in the community.
MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Consistently deliver sales plans and company objectives by cultivating existing customer relationships and building new ones.
Utilize optical prescriptions to recommend lenses and coatings.
Assist patients in selecting frames and coordinate frames with optical measurements to help customers choose the best vision solution.
Conduct measurements using appropriate optical tools and consult with an Optician as needed.
Participate in creating a positive store environment and foster professional relationships with peers, management, doctors and support staff (Target Host partners).
Maintain store appearance and ensure displays and inventory are clean, attractive and organized.
Foster an inclusive culture by treating customers and colleagues with respect.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or GED
1+ years of experience in retail or customer service
Familiarity with point-of-sale systems, computers & calculators with basic phone and math skills
Willingness to embrace new technology and change with a high level of accuracy
Ability to sell through effective sales skills and accountability for results, with a desire to meet goals
Strong communication skills (oral and written)
Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task in a quickly changing environment

Pay Range:
16.90-23.55
This posting is for an existing vacancy within our business. Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements. You may be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, in addition to a total rewards package.
