Industrial Generator Sales Representative – $60K base plus uncapped commission (typically $150–$200K in the first two years). Generator knowledge is a must have. Our client is seeking an experienced Industrial Generator Sales Representative to support and grow its Central Ohio market. This is an outside, highly technical sales role focused on business development. The select candidate will be stepping into an established book of business and supported by a collaborative sales and project team. Position Title

Serve as a
solutions provider
for industrial generator and power projects Drive
business development
across Central Ohio Review
electrical drawings and written specifications
to support accurate quoting Work closely with an
inside sales partner
who manages quote preparation and vendor outreach Establish, maintain, and grow relationships with new and existing customers Support ongoing projects in coordination with Project Managers and Project Engineers Travel locally to customer sites and meetings Top 3 Must-Have Skills
Technical/Electrical Background
– Experience with generators, industrial electrical systems, docking stations, mechanical or engineered solutions; ability to read electrical drawings and written specifications Strong Communication Skills
– Effective verbal and written communication with customers and internal teams Relationship-Driven Sales Professional
– Enjoys being in front of customers, traveling locally, and building long-term partnerships Nice-to-Haves
Prior experience in engineered or industrial sales environments Systems / Tools Used
