About the Role
The Company is in search of a full-time Executive Director to spearhead its fundraising and development efforts. The ideal candidate will be a creative, high-energy individual with a strong passion for the organization's mission. Key responsibilities for the Executive Director include the creation and implementation of a comprehensive fundraising strategy, which involves identifying and engaging new prospects, as well as cultivating relationships with existing donors. The role also demands the ability to work closely with the board of directors, staff, and volunteers to design and execute innovative programming and events that enhance the organization's presence and brand in the US.
Applicants must have a minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a development department, with a proven track record in donor-facing fundraising. The Executive Director will be the primary representative of the organization in the US, and as such, must embody the values and goals of the company. Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The role is remote, and the successful candidate will be expected to travel as needed. Experience with CRM software is required, and familiarity with DonorDock is a plus. The Executive Director will also be responsible for maintaining an active social media presence, serving as a public relations ambassador, and seeking opportunities for the organization to engage with new communities and potential donors.
