About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Public Affairs to drive strategic growth in the public affairs, nonprofit, and advocacy sectors. This executive-level role is pivotal in shaping the company's visibility in values-driven markets, nurturing long-term client relationships, and leading a team to expand mission-aligned business. The successful candidate will be responsible for directing the company's new business strategy in these sectors, overseeing the development of high-impact proposals, and serving as the lead executive on large-scale campaigns and policy initiatives. Additionally, the VP will guide internal strategy sessions, represent the company at various events, and ensure that all offerings reflect cultural competence, audience expertise, and equity principles.

Applicants for the Vice President of Public Affairs position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' of experience in public affairs, campaign strategy, or mission-driven business development, with a preference for those with a proven track record in managing sales pipelines and securing high-value contracts. The role requires a deep understanding of political, nonprofit, or foundation funding ecosystems, as well as strong leadership, writing, presentation, and relationship-building skills. The VP will also be expected to have familiarity with CRM tools and to be adept at project management, including resource allocation and performance tracking. The position is exempt from the overtime and minimum wage protections of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and may involve up to 50% travel.
