About the Role

The Company is seeking a VP of Brand to lead the emotional, visual, verbal, and experiential representation of its innovative coffee mixture. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining, evolving, and executing the brand strategy, ensuring that the brand remains emotionally resonant, differentiated, and culturally relevant. This role is pivotal in building a brand that people not only recognize but also feel, and will involve leading creative direction, maintaining brand systems, and ensuring consistency across all touchpoints. The VP of Brand will also be a key player in cross-functional leadership, partnering with growth, product, innovation, CX, and community teams to align brand and performance and to ensure that the brand promises match the real customer experience.

Applicants for the VP of Brand role at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' experience in brand leadership, with a proven track record of scaling a brand across various channels. The role requires a leader with strong creative instincts, operational rigor, and the ability to balance intuition, data, and business needs. A deep respect for the customer and the emotional side of consumption is essential, as is the ability to build, mentor, and lead a high-performing brand and creative team. The ideal candidate will have experience in CPG, wellness, or lifestyle within DTC and retail spaces, and a bonus if they have experience in subscription-based DTC and a strong POV on modern wellness, rituals, and daily habits.
