About the Role
The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President for Structured Product Valuations. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the valuation processes of structured finance securities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and organizational policies. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to refine valuation models, providing comprehensive analytics and reporting on portfolio performance, and presenting detailed valuation results to senior executives. The AVP will also support audit processes, drive technological advancements, and develop innovative valuation approaches for structured securities.
Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, with a preference for CFA certification, and at least 8 years of experience in the valuations of complex securities and structured finance instruments. Advanced knowledge of valuation methodologies for CLO, ABS, and RMBS securities is essential, as is proficiency in systems such as Intex, Kanerai, and Bloomberg. Strong analytical, qualitative, and communication skills are required, along with the ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities under tight deadlines. The role demands a commitment to high standards of excellence and confidentiality, as well as the ability to enhance existing valuation models and develop new methodologies to improve accuracy and efficiency.
