Do you want to be part of one of Europe\'s fastest-growing climate tech startups? We are looking for an
Interim Marketing Lead
to take ownership of our marketing function for a 10-month period during a planned maternity leave. In this role,
you will act as the owner of Cozero’s marketing strategy and narrative , ensuring consistency and momentum across teams and channels. Your focus will be on
adaptability and execution : maintaining existing positioning that works and adapting what isn’t, supporting ongoing go-to-market initiatives, and keeping marketing performance on track during an active phase of product development and growth. You will work closely with Sales, Customer Success, and RevOps to
coordinate event, customer, and product marketing, support GTM motions, as well as monitor top-to-mid funnel performance.
You’ll also line-manage a small, experienced team and collaborate with external agencies and freelancers to ensure high-quality delivery. This role is well-suited for a senior marketer who enjoys hands-on leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and operating with a high degree of autonomy in a fast-moving B2B environment. You won’t be expected to redesign the strategy from scratch — instead, you’ll help ensure that what’s already in motion continues to run smoothly and effectively, with changes made where needed. By the end of the interim period, you’ll have helped Cozero maintain
clear messaging, strong execution, and marketing continuity,
enabling the team and company to move forward without disruption. We are open to hiring fully remotely for this role
but require you to be located in one of the following countries: Germany, United Kingdom or Portugal. What you'll do:
Owner of Cozero’s marketing strategy and narrative
during the interim period, ensuring consistency across teams and channels.
Maintain and apply existing positioning and messaging; prioritize continuity over major strategic changes.
Lead
product marketing coordination
across product, sales, and customer success.
Support ongoing and planned product launches and feature communications, ensuring clear value propositions and internal alignment.
Oversee
go-to-market execution
for products and markets already in motion.
Manage
top-to-mid funnel performance , partnering with Sales and RevOps to monitor lead quality, conversion, and pipeline contribution.
Line-manage the
marketing team of 2:
(1 Senior Performance Marketing Manager and 1 Junior Marketing Manager), providing prioritization, feedback, and decision support while enabling high autonomy.
Oversee key
content and sales enablement outputs
(core decks, campaigns, customer stories, website updates), ensuring quality and strategic alignment.
Maintain oversight of
marketing operations, analytics, and martech , with a focus on performance visibility rather than tool changes.
Manage existing
agencies and freelancers
to ensure smooth execution and quality control.
Participate in structured
onboarding and offboarding
to ensure continuity before and after the interim period.

You bring 8+ years in B2B
marketing , ideally in a Series A B2B SaaS environment and
4 years coordinating marketing teams.
You have demonstrated experience/success running and optimizing campaigns and in-person events.
Are proficient CRM user, ideally
HubSpot
and
Webflow .
Hands-on with
Figma ,
Adobe InDesign , and
Canva .
You have experience on how to structure campaigns, workflows, and tracking.
Are
passionate about people management and experienced in leading marketing teams.
Proactive, self-motivated approach with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
You have
strong communication and collaboration
skills to work across Sales, Design, and Product.
Are fluent in English (C1 is required)
Nice-to-have: Experience in content creation.
