A value-oriented private equity firm focused on lower middle-market and middle-market buyouts and special situations is seeking a Senior Associate/Vice President to join its investment team.

An emerging alternative asset manager with over $200 million of equity capital deployed across middle-market investments. Job Description:
Underwrite and evaluate lower middle-market and middle-market investment opportunities. Conduct financial analysis and diligence in partnership with third-party advisors. Manage outsourced modeling and presentation workstreams. Support deal execution, structuring, and closing. Assist with portfolio monitoring and value-creation initiatives. Contribute to sourcing and business development efforts, including conference participation. Prepare investment materials and present to the Investment Committee. Requirements / Qualifications:
Prior experience in private equity or a highly analytical investing role. Strong underwriting, financial analysis, and diligence capabilities. Experience working in a rigorous, value-oriented investment environment. Ability to manage third-party advisors and outsourced modeling and materials. Comfort evaluating complex or special situations transactions. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Entrepreneurial mindset and interest in building an emerging platform.
