Job Summary The Director, Investor Relations is a senior leader responsible for shaping executing and continuously evolving the Company's global investor relations strategy and external financial communications. This role serves as a trusted advisor with the CFO, CEO, and Executive Leadership team ensuring the Company's financial strategy, performance, capital allocation priorities, and long-term value creation narrative are clearly articulated and consistently understood by the investment community. Leveraging partnerships with Controllership, Tax, FP&A, Regional Finance Leaders, and other peers, the incumbent will be responsible for leading Quaker Houghton’s investor relations function and executing its financial strategies.
The Director will lead all investor and analyst engagement, oversee earnings and disclosure processes, monitor investor sentiment and valuation dynamics, and provide actionable capital market insights to support executive decision making.
Key Responsibilities
Own and execute the Company's investor relations strategy aligned with enterprise strategy capital allocation priorities and long-term value creation objectives
Lead and develop all quarterly and annual earnings materials including earnings releases, earnings call scripts, investor presentations, and Q&A materials ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with SEC and Reg FD requirements
Partner closely with the CFO, the Finance team and other Executive leaders to articulate the Company's equity story, investment strategy, and financial outlook across all external communications
Serve as a primary advisor to the CFO, and Executive Leadership team on investor sentiment, shareholder engagement, valuation trends, peer performance, and capital market developments
Prepare and deliver regular updates regarding shareholder feedback, proxy advisory perspectives, governance topics, and market perception
Partner with the broader Finance, and Commercial teams to articulate company performance, and align financial messaging with strategy
Facilitate and enhance relationships between Quaker Houghton and institutional investors, sell-side, analysts, proxy advisors, and other key market participants ensuring disciplined transparent and compliant engagement
Plan and execute investor outreach activities including investor day, investor conferences and targeted shareholder meetings
Develop and maintain a shareholder targeting and engagement strategy to optimize the investor base and support long term ownership. As well as cultivate relationships with additional sell side analysts to further strength the Company’s universe of covering analysts over time.
Ensure full compliance and SEC reporting requirements, Reg FD, and disclosure best practices across all investor communications
Act as a leader within the finance organization influencing outcomes through collaboration and credibility
Build scalable IR process tools and analytics appropriate for a public company environment
Qualifications
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree required; MBA, CFA, or CPA strongly preferred
10+ years of progressive experience in financial planning & analysis, investor relations, equity research, corporate finance, or related fields
5+ years of progressive experience in investor relations
Deep understanding of SEC reporting, Reg FD, public company governance and capital market dynamics
Advanced financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills with a proven ability to synthesize complex data into strategic insights
Proven experience engaging with institutional investors sell side analysts proxy advisors executive leadership and board of directors
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with experience developing materials for senior executives, Boards of Directors, and external stakeholders
Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to engage credibly with institutional investors, analysts, and senior leadership
Strategic thinker who operates effectively in fast-paced, dynamic environments
Results-oriented with a high degree of accountability, professionalism, and integrity
