Overview
Universal Nissan, Universal Hyundai, and Genesis of Orlando are seeking a highly experienced BDC Director / Manager to lead and scale our BDC across multiple franchises. This role requires a proven leader who has successfully managed BDC operations in high-volume dealerships and understands how to drive appointments, show rates, and sold ratios in the sales department.
This is a hands-on leadership role, not a desk-only position.
Minimum Requirements
5+ years of BDC leadership experience
in
high-volume automotive dealerships
Proven track record of:
Driving appointment set & show rates
Improving sold ratios
Coaching and developing BDC agents
Strong experience working with
multiple franchises
(Nissan, Hyundai, Genesis preferred)
Deep familiarity with
third-party lead sources , including but not limited to:
OEM leads
Autotrader
Cars.com
CarGurus
TrueCar
KBB ICO
Dealer.com / Dealer Inspire / website chat tools
vAuto
Expert-level knowledge of:
CRM workflows
Lead response times & processes
Call tracking and QA
Text, email, and phone strategies
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily BDC operations across
multiple rooftops
Recruit, train, coach, and hold BDC agents accountable
Build and enforce
scripts, processes, and KPIs
Monitor and improve:
Lead response time
Appointment set & show rates
Sold ratios
Call quality and conversion
Work closely with:
GSMs
Sales Managers
Service Managers
Marketing & vendors
Manage and optimize
third-party lead performance
Deliver
weekly and monthly performance reporting
Ensure consistent customer experience and brand compliance
