Your Opportunity
You will undertake tasks under the mentorship of a Senior Designer or Architect. While licensure is not mandatory, it is anticipated to be among your short-term objectives. Your Key Responsibilities
Keep the Project Manager or Project Architect updated on progress, expectations, deadlines, and deliverables within your responsibilities. Participate in team meetings, charrettes, and coordination sessions. Assist in monitoring and coordinating internal team and external consultant work and deadlines. Support project teams in developing designs through sketches, physical models, electronic models, diagrams, massing studies, and other visual formats. Develop design concepts, renderings, and presentation drawings. Utilize MicroStation, Open Buildings, and other BIM technologies to create three-dimensional models of buildings and their components. Prepare and revise documentation across various architectural phases, including site plans, floor plans, building elevations, building sections, and details. Coordinate building systems (structural, mechanical, electrical, etc.) to ensure they align with the design intent. Assist with contract administration tasks. Attend project coordination meetings with internal team members and/or external consultants. Implement sustainable design principles into building designs and the surrounding environment. Conduct site analysis and research concepts, benchmarks, typologies, and precedents.
