About the role This position interfaces with the client and the client services team to provide strategic direction and support on client accounts. The Senior Account Director manages and leads the client services team to execute the strategic direction for client projects. The role may supervise client services direct reports and works directly with the client to ensure goals and objectives are met, taking ownership of the campaign process from inception to completion.
What you\'ll do
Independently maintains relationship with client to strategic support and direction
Mentors, manages, and leads client services direct reports to ensure client deliverables are strategically on target and implemented on time and within budget
Primary contact between the client and internal agency team, ensuring brand/medical education strategy is communicated and understood
Understands the client\'s brand, therapeutic area, and objectives
Uses independent judgment to act as a bridge between the client and brand/medical education strategy
Supervises client services team members
Manages day-to-day client service to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
Anticipates client needs and makes recommendations
Handles multiple projects and clients under pressure and tight deadlines
Coordinates with multiple departments to ensure quality control and provide input on performance and issues
Communicates project updates across departments
Performs administrative tasks to meet client deliverables
Attends meetings to discuss projects and provide status updates
Travel up to 25%
Performs other duties as assigned
About you
10+ years of agency account management experience, with at least 5 years in pharmaceutical advertising; digital background required managing websites
BA/BS degree required
Deep understanding of the pharma/healthcare advertising industry, including new product launches
DAOR experience strongly preferred
Experience leading digital marketing initiatives
Strong digital omni-channel background
Proven ability to manage multiple clients across an organization and agency partners
Marketing acumen with experience leading an integrated agency team in brand planning, budget development, execution, and measurement
Proven success building senior-level client relationships and cross-team collaboration
Demonstrated success as a strategic partner to clients
Strong presentation, verbal, written, and communication skills
Hands-on proficiency in developing and delivering PowerPoint presentations
Compensation $120,000 - $186,000 a year
