Camp Skylemar, a residential summer camp in Maine, is seeking a creative and passionate Photographer to capture the spirit, energy, and unforgettable moments of camp life. This is an exciting opportunity for a college student or recent graduate with strong photography skills and a love for outdoor adventure to build their portfolio and be part of a vibrant community.
📸 Job Responsibilities
- Take daily photos of campers, staff, activities, and facilities
- Capture candid moments, action shots, and group portraits
- Edit, organize, and upload photos regularly for use in marketing and social media
- Collaborate with the Photography & Media team to tell the story of camp through images
- Manage and care for photography equipment, ensuring backups and safety
🎓 Ideal Candidate Has
- Experience with DSLR or mirrorless cameras and photo editing software (Lightroom, Bridge, Photoshop)
- A creative eye and ability to capture authentic moments
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Positive attitude and willingness to live and work in a camp environment
- Experience working with children or in dynamic settings is a plus
💰 Compensation & Perks
- Starting salary: $3,200.
