Overview

Peraton is seeking a highly qualified Cybersecurity Lead to fill a Key Personnel position in support of the Enterprise Pacific IT C5 Solution (EPICS) effort for United States Army Pacific (USARPAC).

The United States Army Pacific is the Army Service Component Command for the United States Indo-Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM), responsible for Army forces in the Indo-Pacific area of responsibility (AOR). The AOR covers 9,000 miles, from the west coast of the continental United States to India. USARPAC applies campaign-quality land power with more than 107,000 soldiers and civilians and represents the nation’s largest theater Army Component. This task order (TO) directly supports the efforts of USARPAC, its subordinate commands, and its strategic and operational partners (e.g., Pacific Air Forces (PACAF), USINDOPACOM, United States Forces Japan (USFJ), United States Forces Korea (USFK), Marine Forces Pacific (MARFORPAC), Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) United States Paces Force (USSF), Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), National Guard Agencies (State Department)) to contribute to USINDOPACOM’s operationalization of the National Defense Strategy through providing comprehensive IT enterprise services (e.g., complete infrastructure life cycle for all hardware, software, and services including planning, analysis, engineering, design, development, installation, interoperability mitigation, integrations, testing, operations and maintenance (O&M), and training of all C5 and IT systems supported) that enable multi-domain C5ISR (Command, control, communications, computers, cyber, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance) capabilities across the Indo-Pacific AOR.

The purpose of the EPICs task order is to provide critical C4 and IT system support to Enterprise Services Integration and Modernization (ESIM) for USARPAC G6, its subordinate units, and its strategic and operational partners. C4 capabilities are distinct and each fulfills a different purpose.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as astrategic asset in managing and advancing cyber defenses across the theater
  • Serve as key enabler in supporting Cybersecurity efforts along with driving the implementation of robust cybersecurity measures in alignment with DoD and Mission Partner polices (e.g. USARPAC, PACAF, USFJ)
  • Responsible for ensuring the resilience of IT systems and networks critical to Mission Partner’s mission, while proactively addressing emerging cyber threats and vulnerabilities in the USINDOPACOM AOR
  • Collaborate with senior leaders, mission partners, and stakeholders to shape cybersecurity strategies, policies, and solutions that enhance Mission Partner’s ability to operate securely in a dynamic and contested environment

Required Qualifications

  • A DoDTS/SCIclearance with access to SCI based on a SSBI along with US citizenship
  • Demonstrated “Advanced Technical Expertise” or certifications in accordance with DoD
  • A minimum of 16 years of applicable experience
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience integrating DoD and Mission Partner cybersecurity policies into IT projects
  • A minimum of five years of experience in the RMF process
  • A minimum of five years of experience managing cybersecurity at the program level including planning, directing, and coordinating cybersecurity requirements for network and systems administration
  • Demonstrated expertise in verbal and written communication, with the ability to effectively articulate cybersecurity requirements and concerns senior leadership at the major command level and above
