POSITION TITLE:
CONSUMER LOAN PROCESSOR I DEPARTMENT:
CONSUMER LENDING LEVEL:
104 Bilingual: Spanish/Portuguese a plus FUNCTION: Performs a variety of duties to assist in the acquisition, processing, and closing of Consumer Lending products including Home Equity loans/lines of credit. The candidate will interact with customers to provide superior service levels and prompt closing times. Also serves as a liaison between Retail Banking, BayCoast Mortgage and Loan Servicing areas to deliver quality service and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities
Processes, and closes Consumer loan applications (including Home Equity products). Inputs data to LOS, generates required documentation. Acquires and maintains a thorough knowledge of BayCoast Bank's Consumer Loan programs, features and requirements. Acquires and maintains a thorough knowledge of BayCoast Bank's Consumer Loan application, processing, underwriting, and closing process and procedures. Acquires and maintains a thorough knowledge of BayCoast Bank's Consumer Loan Processing software systems and their impact on the business model. Acquires and maintains a thorough knowledge of BayCoast Bank's Consumer Loan Servicing process and loan documentation requirements. Acquires and maintains a thorough knowledge of Consumer Loan compliance issues and regulations and assists in maintaining high compliance standards within the Consumer Lending area. Assists with bank audits and compliance exams from both internal and external sources. Assists with audit responses and corrective measures. Maintains adherence to industry underwriting criteria and regulatory and real estate lending regulations. Works diligently to assure proper safeguards and security for the bank's assets. Assists in the sales efforts of the bank's Consumer Loan products both from the Retail Branch network, online applications and other channels. Interact with customers, attorneys, appraisers and other vendors to insure a timely loan process and closing. Maintains a current registration with the Nationwide Multistate Licensing System (NMLS) if applicable. Assumes additional responsibilities as requested. Knowledge/Skills/Experience Requirements
2 years of Consumer Lending or relevant experience. General business knowledge and pc skills required. Ability and knowledge to work independently to achieve results with a minimum of supervision. Equipment Used

In the performance of respective tasks and duties, the employee is expected to successfully perform the essential functions of the position.
