This is a full-time, on-site role for a Financial Aid Counselor located in Wilberforce, OH. The Financial Aid Counselor will assist students and families with the financial aid process, including providing guidance on applications, explaining eligibility requirements, and analyzing financial documents. The role involves determining financial aid awards, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and maintaining accurate records. The counselor will also engage in outreach to educate and inform students about available financial aid resources and will provide excellent customer service to support student success. Qualifications

Strong knowledge of financial aid processes, regulations, and policies Analytical skills to review and assess financial documents Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to provide guidance and support to students and families Proficiency in administrative tasks, including maintaining accurate records and using financial aid management systems Ability to work collaboratively with diverse individuals and departments Experience in counseling or advising roles, particularly in financial aid or higher education, is a plus Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Finance, Education, or a Social Science, is required Working knowledge of federal, state, and institutional financial aid programs is highly desirable
