Position Overview Wako is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented
Parts Specialist
to join our team at the Wako store. This role supports our agricultural parts and equipment business, focusing on customer service, parts sales, inventory, and daily store operations. The ideal candidate is willing to learn, enjoys working with customers, and has an interest in agricultural equipment.
Schedule
Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Saturdays: 2-3 Saturdays per month, 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Pay
Pay is based on experience and qualifications; entry-level and experienced applicants are welcome to apply.
Key Responsibilities
Assist customers in-store and over the phone with parts inquiries, pricing, and availability
Look up parts using catalogs, manuals, and internal systems for Wako tillage and sprayer equipment
Process customer orders accurately and efficiently
Restock shelves and maintain organized parts displays
Assist with shipping and receiving parts and equipment
Learn Wako parts, machines, and systems to provide knowledgeable customer support
Assist with inventory management, including counts and restocking
Assist in the production of Wako small sprayers
Support day-to-day store and warehouse operations as needed
Qualifications & Skills
Strong customer service and communication skills
Willingness to learn agricultural parts, equipment, and systems
Basic computer skills and ability to use parts catalogs and manuals
Organized, detail-oriented, and reliable
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Prior experience with agricultural equipment, parts, or retail is a plus but not required
Ability to lift and move parts and packages as needed
Work Environment
Combination of retail counter, warehouse, and office work
Regular interaction with farmers and agricultural professionals
Hands-on position with physical activity
