What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)

Support the Data Protection Team with day-to-day responsibilities and compliance initiatives

Collaborate with various teams to ensure adherence to contractual and regulatory data protection requirements

Draft, review, and maintain data protection policies and procedures

Conduct assessments related to privacy and improve assessment processes

Identify and implement technology solutions to enhance efficiency in data protection processes

What is Required (Qualifications)

Excellent knowledge of the EU General Data Protection Regulation with proven advisory experience

Experience in creating and managing data protection policies and procedures

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships with stakeholders

Demonstrable experience in privacy by design and conducting data protection impact assessments

Verbal and written fluency in the English language

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

Familiarity with global data protection legislation such as PIPEDA, California Consumer Privacy Act, and others

Previous experience working remotely is considered a plus
