This role is ideal for a creative, technically proficient, and highly organized designer who thrives in a collaborative studio environment. You will contribute to the conceptualization, development, and execution of projects across all phases—from early ideation to construction administration. Support production in design phases, including 2D drawings, 3D models, and presentation decks Demonstrate strong conceptual thinking with a refined aesthetic and functional sensibility throughout the design process Produce and coordinate comprehensive technical drawings and document sets across all project phases Ensure design intent is translated accurately through coordination with consultants and contractors Work closely with teammates to promote a culture of design excellence Collaborate with internal architecture teams to integrate interiors with the broader project vision Communicate effectively with Partners and Directors to advance project goals and studio standards Qualifications
Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and InDesign) Strong knowledge of 3ds Max, Corona and/or other high-quality rendering software Knowledge of sustainable design practices and material research Ability to create persuasive and visually compelling presentation materials High attention to detail Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with initiative and creativity Comfortable working in a collaborative and holistic manner with internal architecture teams Our Ideal Candidate
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or related field 5+ years of professional experience in architecture firms Exceptional design skills with a portfolio demonstrating strong conceptual thinking and creative design solutions Experience in a dynamic, fast-paced studio environment with evolving timelines Collaborative spirit with ownership and pride in their work Willingness to learn and grow within the role Compensation
The rate for this position is generally $80,000–$120,000 annually. This range is a good faith estimate provided under the New York Pay Transparency Law. It is based on a successful applicant being in New York or performing the position from New York. Offers will be based on factors including operational needs, education, qualifications, experience, and applicable laws. Pay history will not be used in compensation decisions. Benefits
