Overview
PERSONAL BANKER IV - Fulltime - Reseda
We are seeking a dynamic Personal Banker IV who supports the Branch Manager with oversight of the branch. Accountable for all aspects of performance including deposit/loan growth, member services, business development and operations for the branch.
Responsibilities
Build strong relationships to promote member retention and loyalty, providing exceptional service while identifying member needs.
Assist in supervising branch team members and ensure optimal performance. Perform a broad variety of Teller transactions (deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments) and sell cashier's checks with a high degree of accuracy in accordance with the Credit Union’s policies and procedures, including robbery procedures.
Preserve privacy of member account information and security of assigned cash and keys by complying with branch security procedures.
Perform duties related to member accounts including member correspondence, instant issue debit cards, file maintenance, and telephone support. Perform complex senior-level services such as opening accounts, processing loan applications, and handling member service requests, business accounts/loans, wealth management, licensing, and special accounts.
Sales and operationally proficient with needs-based selling and member relationship responsibilities as needed.
Ensure member requests and questions are promptly resolved and handle member complaints.
Inform members of Credit Union services and policies and maintain the Credit Union’s quality reputation.
Ensure branch balances all transactions at close of day, run related reports, and complete all checklists.
This position is a designated Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) and requires full compliance with the SAFE Act.
Qualifications
High school graduate or equivalent (college degree preferred).
Required 3 to 5 years of branch banking experience.
Advanced understanding of credit union products and services.
Demonstrated track record of success meeting/exceeding sales and lending goals in a relationship-focused environment.
Outstanding member experience and cash handling skills.
Supervisory/Management experience preferred.
Strong customer service skills, ability to multitask, and ability to work independently and in a team.
NMLS license required.
Branch hours: Mon-Thurs 9:00am–5:00pm, Fri 9:00am–5:00pm, Sat 9:00am–1:00pm or 9:00am–6:00pm as applicable.

Compensation & Benefits Pay Range Info
The base pay range for this position is: $30.27 – $37.84 hourly plus incentives (guaranteed $500/month for the first three months).
