Delivers the desired member loan servicing experience by providing high-quality service via telephone, e-mail, and fax. Uses active listening to identify and address/resolve member needs and inquiries. Responds to non-complex loan servicing questions in the Servicing call queue and internal ticketing system (e.g., waiving late fees, payoff quotes, processing payoffs) in a timely and accurate manner. Identifies context from account data to determine needs, resolves problems, and escalates as needed. Escalates complex items to the Servicing Specialist II, Servicing Specialist III, or Servicing Manager with relevant supporting documentation. Advises members on lending servicing processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Processes simple mortgage and home equity payments, property taxes, and other escrow payments. Prepares and processes mortgage discharges on paid-in-full loans for approval, signoff, and recording; follows up by mailing recorded documents to the member. Assists with administrative functions and lending projects (e.g., tracking and records documentation review, file organization). Uses servicing software to track insurance policies to ensure adequate coverage (hazard, PMI, flood insurance, and others as required). Keeps all escrowed account information current in mortgage servicing software. Understands and follows MSGCU policies, procedures, and guidelines; completes duties with accountability to ensure compliance with MSGCU and regulatory requirements. High school diploma or GED; and 1 year of member-facing lending experience within a financial institution. Working Conditions
Office and branch environment with typical noise levels; minimal discomfort from temperature variations and dust. Occasionally travel within MSGCU's service area as needed. Possible exposure to security risks (e.g., robbery). Security procedures are provided annually to minimize risk. Typically sits for long periods with occasional walking or standing; may lift/move up to 10 pounds. Compensation And Benefits
MSGCU offers competitive salaries and benefits including health coverage, retirement plan contributions, and employee discounts. Base pay is $18.50 per hour. Medical, dental, and vision coverage from day one; option for HSAs with plans available. 3% employer contribution and 100% match on the next 7% contributed to 401(k) (for eligible employees). 12 paid holidays and up to 120 hours of paid time off in the first year (pro-rated).
