The Associate Account Manager (AAM) provides foundational administrative and client service support to Account Managers and Account Executives. This role focuses on developing insurance fundamentals, learning agency systems and workflows, and delivering accurate, timely service in alignment with established agency service level standards. Essential Functions

Client Service & Administrative Support

Provide administrative and service support for client onboarding, renewals, and day-to-day servicing activities. Process certificates of insurance, binders, auto ID cards, endorsements, cancellations, and reinstatements. Maintain accurate and up-to-date client and policy information within agency management systems. Follow established agency workflows, procedures, and service standards to ensure consistency and accuracy. Communicate professionally and effectively with internal teams, carriers, and vendors. Escalate issues appropriately to Account Managers or Account Executives as needed. Partner with assigned mentors or team members for guidance on processes, systems, and service expectations. Learning & Development

Participate in training, continuing education, and professional development activities. Build foundational knowledge of insurance concepts, coverage types, and agency operations. Work toward increased responsibility and skill development within the account management career path. Non-Essential Functions

High school diploma or equivalent required. Customer service experience preferred. Ability to obtain a Property & Casualty insurance license within 90 days of hire if not already licensed. Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn agency systems and workflows. Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of insurance industry, markets, and carriers Experience with Applied Systems Epic software Working knowledge or ability to learn agency management systems. Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel. Physical & Mental Demands

Prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer. Frequent use of hands for keyboarding and mouse operation. Ability to focus for extended periods while managing detailed and accuracy-sensitive work. Ability to manage workload pressures, deadlines, and shifting priorities.
